Man, both modern and ancient, was primarily worried about the presence of a warm home, where one could relax and hide from the weather. In times of primitiveness, people were satisfied with living in a raw and cold cave, but more comfortable dwellings are currently preferable, and convenience directly depends on the quality of real estate. For some, the limit of dreams is an apartment in the center of the city, in which life is seething around the clock, but still if you ask anyone where he would like to live, you can probably hear: “In his own house”.
According to Soviet performances, the house is a small wooden building with amenities on the street, now it is rather a solid cottage, mainly from wood or brick.
For the construction of modern “home foci”, wood building materials, such as a gallant log or glued beam, are often used. The latter gained especially wide popularity, deserved it thanks to the following positive qualities:

1 – a special assembly of lamella (elements for gluing are located in relation to the neighboring so that the direction of the fibers is perpendicular) allows you to achieve special strength;
2 – special impregnation and processing of boards avoids damage associated with negative natural effects or the vital activity of microorganisms and insects;
– The low weight of wood buildings implies less labor, temporary and financial costs for preparing the foundation of the building;
– The creative of designers is not limited to anything – there are no boundaries that would be outlined by the lack of opportunities for the embodiment of a particular idea;
– Good thermal insulation properties allow you to avoid heat in the house in the summer and cold – in winter, moreover, there is a high degree of protection against moisture;
– The absence of harmful impurities in production, the use of only natural raw materials indicates the absolute harmlessness of glued timber. Natural materials do not damage human health, so the construction of houses is so in demand from wood;
– The price of the beam is low, for this reason it is often chosen by people even with low income, but its quality is very good;
– Many construction companies offer the acquisition of a turnkey house from glued beams – such housing will be warm, cozy and high -quality, but it should be remembered that in addition to all the above advantages, there is the possibility of quite quick settlement in the already finished housing.
Even in the distant past, our ancestors used the tree as the main building material, but the fragility of buildings from it forced to use stronger but colder materials – stone, concrete, brick. Thanks to the technological innovations, the life of a wooden array was extended as possible for a longer period, preserving all its positive qualities and an amazing appearance. And the construction itself becomes less time -consuming and complex – the quality of building material avoids many problems associated with the adjustment of parts, shrinkage of the entire building. This allows construction on their own, if necessary, since there is no need to have huge volumes of special knowledge.
