Thinking over the interior of the cottage or a country house, you must first decide why this house or cottage is for you to plow on your site like an ant, or rest, like a dragonfly.
If earlier the cottage was perceived exclusively as a place where it is necessary to work continuously in order to “provide a well-fed winter” (there was such a slogan in Soviet times), now more and more people are inclined to the fact that the cottage is still a place where you can relax after Stressed labor week.
And I want to rest, as a rule, in comfort, in a pleasant and convenient interior that will delight the eye, and not call for new labor exploits. For those who live in a country house constantly, the issue of interior design is even more important, because I would like to harmoniously combine the advantages of life “in nature” with all the modern achievements of civilization.
Of course, it is best to contact a designer who, from a professional point of view, will appreciate your house and give advice and recommendations for its design. When organizing living space, many factors have to take into account. Both the external and the inner appearance of the house should harmoniously fit into the surrounding landscape.
As a rule, equipping our house, we are guided primarily by convenience and functionality. However, between the interior of a city apartment and the interior of a country house, of course, there are differences. So, for example, the inhabitants of the country house every now and then come in, come from home, so the floor is best made from ceramic granite, preferably with insulation.
In general, the interior of the country house fit very successfully, first of all, natural materials: wood and stone. Ladure houses are building wooden today (the cost of glued timber makes them accessible to everyone) or brick, and the interior must correspond to the external appearance of the building. Wooden panels, stairs, massive tables and chairs made of natural wood, as well as a fireplace lined with natural stone – all this will give the house thoroughness and will cause associations either with a knightly castle, or with an old landowner estate.
And to avoid the impression of heavyness, you can fill the interior with soft, bright tones and an abundance of free space, emphasizing this with light air curtains. Aggressive and too bright tones are better to avoid. However, separate bright color spots, such as, for example, pillows scattered along the sofa or rug, will look great in combination with light furniture and a common upward color of the room.
Particular attention should be paid to lighting. There is also its own specifics: you need to take care of the good illumination of the entrance to the house, stairs, closets and basements. And the lighting of the rooms can include, like in a city apartment, ceiling lamps, floor lamps, sconces, table lamps placed with maximum convenience for the hosts.
The abundance of flowers in the rooms, as well as pots, vases, vases and tubs with flowers, placed on the veranda and at the front door, will create a feeling of the harmony of the interior and exterior of the house.
