Correctly and well -calculated foundation, its proper construction, taking into account all the features of the soils, is a guarantee of a long life of the entire construction site. The most common are columnar (pile, for industrial structures), monolithic and prefabricated strip and plate bases.
New modern technologies and scientific developments make it possible to make the construction of the foundation economical and maximally non -prepared process. Such new types of construction of the bases include the device of a low -pounded strip foundation used in individual low -rise construction. For its construction, monolithic reinforced concrete is used, laid down according to the new technology. Builders include this type of foundation to the little -known technology of the “floating stove”. To understand exactly how such a foundation is arranged, it is best to imagine a construction structure that is fully based on a kind of “floating in the soil” table, toughly associated with all structures of the building. The necessary stiffness in the space is given to such a floating base, metal frames (or reinforcement) and rods of the stiffness of a monolithic strip base, which have a fairly large height (55-65 cm).
The foundations of the floating type are considered universal grounds, since they are suitable for any type of soil (weak, problematic, compressing, etc.). Accordingly, the construction of a strip foundation of this type is carried out taking into account the fact that no soil shifts (including seasonal freezing and thawing) can influence the states of the buildings of the building (distortions and displacements, as well as, the appearance of cracks are impossible).
The construction of a floating foundation is carried out as usual technologies, the difference consists in a floating effect, thanks to which the building “does not feel” the effects of the compression of soils, since, in addition to everything, the structure has a significantly larger area of the support around the perimeter. A floating effect is achieved by the fact that a sand pillow is equipped in a trench or a pit 25-30 cm high, and the formwork is removed by 40-45 cm above the ground, and after installing the frame it is poured with monolithic concrete. In a monolithic floating foundation, the function of a “floating” element is performed by a monolithic closed reinforced concrete belt. Such a technology makes it possible not only to perform work at any time of the year, but also to build a monolithic foundation in various climatic zones of the Russian Federation.
The width of the monolithic belt must be calculated based on the material of the future walls of the house (sandwich panels, brick, siding, etc.). This technology significantly accelerates construction work, and gives significant saving of materials.
