Moving to a new house or apartment – great joy for all family members. Improved housing conditions, the convenient location of the new dwelling, and just a change in the cost – all this causes a real storm of positive emotions. But this joy is always associated with chores – after all, new housing needs to be equipped. Repair is not the most pleasant word for most of our compatriots who are accustomed to do all the work on their own, spending all their free time on them, as well as large amounts of money. But, nevertheless, we all want to live in comfortable conditions, and therefore we will still have to carry out repairs.
But before starting directly to work, you need to decide to plan all the stages of repairs, as well as decide on finishing materials. Double -glazed windows for windows, suspended ceilings, walls of the walls, the general style of the room – all this should be thought out in advance. It is worth thinking about the flooring – after all, almost all the loads will be given on it. Of course, many wooden floors – parquet or massive board with an ideal option. In this matter, we will agree with the majority – it is better than coating from natural wood for the home that nothing has yet been invented. None of the modern synthetic materials can compare with the tree either in operational qualities or in appearance. But many are stopped by the fact that laying a parquet board or piece parquet takes a long time and is quite expensive.
In fact, this is not always the case. The speed of parquet work depends on the qualifications of the masters performing them, and the price on the material (after all, it is not necessary to order an elite parquet from Wenge or Mahagon).
Let’s try to divide parquet work into stages:
Preparation of the floor for laying a parquet board or parquet. It is very important that the screed (whether it is concrete or plywood) is perfectly even and smooth – otherwise later the coating will creak strongly and, over time, shakes;
Laying of planks. Piece parquet can be laid one of many standard ways. In any case, the main thing is to tightly glue the coating to the screed (when laying on the plywood, each parquetine can be nailed to it using special studs);
Coating cycle. In order to remove all defects, pollution and align the floor, the parquet is polished using special machines (as a rule, three types of cycling devices are used);
Processing joints between the strips or boards with putty – to prevent dust and dirt between them;
Giving the coverage of the desired color using a special ring (not necessary);
Applying to the floor of varnish (matte or glossy) or wax.
As you can see, there is nothing particularly difficult in the process of laying the parquet. The main thing is to know all the subtleties of the work – that is why only professionals should lay parquet.
