Despite the visual simplicity of the issue, the rules and norms for the fulfillment of this task exist. They are due to the need to ensure maximum functionality and convenience of premises. Consider the nuances of furniture design.
If we talk about state regulation, then there is GOST21.507-81 and SNiPs for residential buildings, fire safety, SanPi in which basic concepts are compiled. The most valuable thing we can draw from there is the minimum distances between the elements and the size of the aisle. Regarding the standards, the same minimal width appears everywhere: with the probability of staying in the apartment of several people of the passage zone in public rooms, there should be at least 800 mm, and 700mm is allowed to leave in single. In practice, this means that the double bed should leave at least 800 with each other and the wall from the movement of people. Even though the rooms are completely different in width (2.5m, for example), reducing the width of the passage reduces the convenience of operating the room as a whole. The organization of passages from all sides, however, is not required – the issue applies to the part of the furniture where it is maintained and used. In the sense of the same double bed, passages are provided on the sides and at the bottom. The head of the head is most often put close to the wall. According to the chief engineer of the furniture enterprise, if there are no necessary elements among standard furniture, the designer designs individual elements, withstanding the basic requirements.
A slightly different statement of the question awaits us when trying to arrange sanitary devices and furniture in the bathroom. The minimum space in the plan is originally designed here, and therefore all elements are built along the walls, leaving the service area in the center of the room. So, to install a washing or toilet, you will need to retreat from the wall to the center of the device of at least 450mm, and the distance of the devices among themselves is at least 600 in the axes. Between the edge of the seat of the toilet and the door cannot be less than 500 mm. For public sanitary premises, dimensions are increased and described in norms for civilian buildings. If cabinets with opening doors are located in the sanitary room, the width of the passage should be increased by half the width of the door. The dimensions of sanitary devices can be completely different, but the main task of the designer and the designer is to arrange them so that there are at least 100 mm between their edges. The height of the suspension of sinks and countertops will be 800 mm, the height of the bath installation is 600mm.
Based on these and other regulatory data, the designer and designer select equipment for each room.
