One of the rules of the competent installation of furniture reads – the installation must be preceded by the completion of electrical work. In this regard, it is necessary to take care of the installation of additional lighting in advance. After all, by the arrival of furniture collectors, external lighting should have already been installed. What lamps should you choose?
Lamps of external lighting and light sources for the interior space of the cabinet differ in power consumed. For external lighting, the released thermal energy plays a small role. Therefore, point halogen lamps or familiar incandescent lamps can be used. Competition of this type of lighting is energy -saving lamps.
Incandescent lamps and halogen lamps consume energy 4.5-5 times more than energy-saving lamps. For glow in such lamps, the principle of heating is used. In the first case, this is a tungsten spiral, in the second – a special gas. Such light sources can only be stirred in a well -ventilated place. Therefore, their use is limited to external lighting or lighting of the open cupboards, and the installation requires additional electrical work.
Energy -saving lamps consume less energy and, accordingly, release less heat. However, the use of this type of lighting inside the cabinet is irrational. Energy -saving lamps require the installation of an electronic unit that increases the voltage. This imposes certain restrictions on their application. Placing such lamps is good where it will be impossible to get them during operation of the cabinet. As a rule, this is the upper lighting of the open locations of the cabinet or external lighting.
Lighting equipment that is chosen by ordering wardrobes inexpensively must comply with fire and operational safety rules. This type of lighting includes LED lamps (LED). Their installation for illuminating the internal parts of the cabinet is very effective. The luminous flux created by LED lighting has a sufficient level of brightness, and the technical characteristics are ideal for work in a limited, slightly ventilated space of the cabinet.
What advantages do LED lamps have?
Firstly, size. LEDs have a small size, and take an extra place with lighting devices means to create an inconvenience in the operation of the cabinet. Small lamps are conveniently placed even on small shelves.
Secondly, LED lighting does not emit as much heat as other types of lamps. This applies to fire safety – it is almost impossible to get a fire from the LED lamp.
Thirdly, LED lighting requires low voltage for its work. This is electrical safety. After all, it’s nice to save by ordering the wardrobes inexpensively, and at the same time be sure of safe and comfortable operation.
