Types of decoration of facades of houses
The decoration of the facade of the building is the last stage of construction, which gives the building a complete view. A huge assortment of building facade materials allows you to diversify the architectural compositions of the streets of cities and villages. In addition to giving the building of aesthetic type, facade decoration serves as the protection of supporting structures from the effects of the aggressive environment.
Methods of decoration of facades
Distinguish between a wet method of finishing and dry. In the first case, finishing work is carried out using facade solutions, in the second – using the fastening of the elements dry (dowels, self -tapping screws, nails). When using solutions during decoration, weather conditions must be taken into account, especially this is important in winter in severe frost. Dry method allows finishing work at any time of the year.
Modern construction technologies have mastered another variety of an effective facade – a ventilated facade. The presence of an air gap between the decoration layers provides ventilation of the insulation, and as a result, an increase in its heat -insulating properties. At the same time, we save on the thickness of the insulation and the cost of thermal energy spent for heating the building. The device of the ventilated facade is always a dry process. It is performed by a simple construction tool. For a dry method, the following materials are used – siding, natural wood, various tiles and panels with dry fastening. Siding is one of the most common types of decoration, industry produces a large range of vinyl products. Such a facade has a long service life and is unpretentious in operation. Wooden facades – environmentally friendly, but not durable, require special care. Prices for vinyl and wooden facade are acceptable to people with average income.
The wet method of decorating facades is more laborious, but its hygiene properties are higher. Plastering and adhesive solutions allow the outer wall to “breathe”, they pass moisture and air. A layer of protective putty and facade paint is necessarily applied on top of the plaster on the walls. The plaster of the facades with subsequent coloring requires a certain care and periodic replacement of the staining and protective layer.
Examples of facade decoration
The use of facing and facial bricks during the construction of external walls allows you to combine the processes of wall laying and finishes, t. e. The subsequent finish is completely excluded.
Buildings lined with natural or artificial stone look attractive and luxurious. The operation of a well -performed facade made of stone is not costly and simple. Stone tiles due to its structure pass air and moisture, t. e. allow the wall to “breathe”. The choice of the method of decoration of the facade must be approached responsibly, carefully think over color and material.
