Siding is a wall panels made of plastic (PVC) for the exterior decoration of the building. This very popular finishing material is non -toxic, environmentally friendly and perfectly withstands extreme temperatures from -50 to +60 s. Odessa siding can be sheathed by almost any building facade. Typically, the process of lining with siding begins with installation on the sheathed surface of the crate. Most often, wooden bars or metal profile are the material for the crate. When using a wooden beam for a crate, it should be remembered that the beam unprocessed by a special protective composition will not last long. The soundproofing properties of siding are not very good, so you should use acoustic wall panels when interior decoration. In addition, a wooden beam costs much more than a galvanized steel profile. You can advise to make a crate from the usual plasterboard profile CD60, to which, subsequently, it will be possible to attach a plasterboard suspension. Fasteners for attaching the crate should be selected taking into account the building material from which the building is built. For example, for a brick house, it is more practical to use dowels, and for a house built of foam blocks, aerated concrete or shellout, ordinary self -tapping screws are better for wood. It should be remembered that regardless of the type of attachment of the crate, the fasteners must firmly stay on the wall of the house in order to cope well with their main task – to hold the crate with the siding mounted on it.
Before you start installing the crate, it is necessary to make the appropriate marking on the wall. For competent and proper markup, it is better to use a construction plumb and a painting (trace) cord.
Using a plumb line, it will be necessary to make risks (marks) with an interval of 50 cm from each other, in the upper and lower part of the wall, and use the cord to connect the risks made by drawing vertical connecting lines. As a rule, two people are marking the markings: they “shoot” with a won and stretched cord on the surface of the wall (pulling and releasing the cord). At the same time, lines should be drawn on the wall, focusing on which it will be possible to smoothly install fasteners and strictly vertically fix the crate. Corner profiles are carried out on the edge of the corner as much as possible, so that it is easier to mount the outer angles.
