Peat block
Peat blocks as an environmentally friendly insulation have been used for a long time. Material is produced with water and sifted peat, after which a binder forms a slightly resembling paste. Peat blocks have a huge advantage among thermal insulation materials:

Peat insulation has greater strength and durability. Manufacturers give a guarantee of operation for at least 60 years. The material is easy to install, as it is easily cut. By thermal insulation properties, silicate brick can be compared to 1.5 meters and block 0.5 meters. The wall insulated with peat “breathes” well, so it is not necessary to lay vapor barrier during installation. And if other insulation materials are mounted on supporting walls, then peat blocks can even be built low -rise buildings, which will significantly save time and means.
Ecowata
The material is pulp fibers. This insulation has in the main processing of paper. The waste paper is mixed with anti -rope antiseptics, after which a wonderful soundproof insulation is obtained. Ecological cotton wool contains boric acid, which protects the material from the manifestation of rot and mold.
The material looks like a porous loose mass, which is attached with a water or glue solution, spraying it with air installation. The duration of operation is at least 70 years, while protective qualities are not reduced over the years. Thanks to boric acid in the composition of the insulation, the material is not subject to fire – at a high temperature, cotton wool simply begins to secrete moisture. Environmentally friendly insulation does not melt and does not burn, it can be charged. But when removing the hearth, he fades.
The main advantage of the insulation is the absence of seams and joints during installation. The spraying installation allows you to fill with eco -materials all inaccessible cracks and potholes.
The only minus is ecowan – the ability to absorb a large amount of moisture, as a result of which thermal insulation properties are reduced. Therefore, it is not recommended to mount the material in raw basements and rooms with high humidity.
