If you want to start repairs, then in this article you will find what it will be difficult to do without, especially when your work has approached the process of manufacturing the ceiling from drywall. Now we will discuss in the smallest detail how, our own efforts to make an even simple drywall ceiling, knowing what it is written here in the future will be more difficult to perform, based on this knowledge. To begin with, we determine the material for the frame, on which plate plate will be attached, it can be either wood and metal galvanized profiles. When choosing the material, you need to take into account the height, this is how much the ceiling we will fall; financially opportunities, because a frame made of wood will cost you much cheaper than a frame made of metal galvanized profile. When choosing a frame, the material that the profile will be, you must know that it is divided into two types: starting – has a UD label, and the working main CD. The setting kit will also be needed: P-shaped fasteners (earring), or you can use a quick suspension that will help attach CD profile to the ceiling of the room. To fix the profiles with each other, which means reconstruction of cells you need four third -party fasteners (crab). Now let’s get down to business. We mark the points, for this you need a hydraulicarian, at these points we further fix the ceiling start profile. It should be on the entire perimeter of this design, it is also the main guide for the working profile. Then, when this profile is already fixed, you need to dial a working frame. In appearance, these are cells having a size of 600-600 mm. At the same time, you must remember that the size of the drywall sheet is in width – 1200 mm, and in length – 2500 mm. It follows that the cell, which will be the last to go 100 mm more. Important information: distances that are indicated here have the size to the middle of the profile. The beginning of this marking will be the side from the wall to which the drywall sheets will be fixed. It is important that the putty forms microcracks as little as possible, for this the sheets are laid out in a checkerboard pattern. Then when the frame is already typed, it’s time to make wiring to the places where the lighting will be. For the safety of wiring, remember that the wire is best laid in a metal or in a special metal -plastic sleeve, and it is also important that there are no compounds that are isolated. After the laying of all wires has ended, it is time to start fixing the sheets of dry plaster. Drywall slabs that are used to lay ceilings usually have a thickness of 9 mm, but it is also possible to lay sheets, the thickness of which is 12.5 mm. In rooms where humidity is most increased, the use of waterproof drywall is recommended. Moisture -resistant drywall has the difference from a simple leaf color and it is characterized by a shade of greenish color.
