If you want your country house to delight your family with warmth and comfort all year round, take care of the competent choice of a heating system. The question of how and how to heat the cottage in the cold season, stands in front of many homeowners. The problem has many solutions, and we will consider some of them.
Warm Paul systems
This heating option is based on electric heating, is the least costly and unpretentious in operation by the way to warm up housing. An electric cable feeding on the 220 V network is placed under the floor covering (in a cement screed, under ceramic tiles, etc.) and joins the thermostat. After three weeks, as soon as the screed gains 100% strength, the “warm floor” system is ready for operation.
Electricity consumption with this heating version is about 125-150 W per 1 sq. m, which is quite profitable. But there is still a thermostatic with which you can save electricity, turning off the “warm floor” for the duration of your absence in the house, and including heat in advance, before your appearance.
Another advantage of the “warm floor” system is the supply of heated air from the lower level of the room. Thus, there simply will not be unheated areas in the rooms, the legs will always be warm, it will be possible to walk barefoot on the floor even in winter.
Gas heating
If a gas line is running near your site, then the installation of gas heating looks like a good solution.
Before bringing this idea to life, you need to order a project and go through the procedure for coordinating it with gas services. Often, you need to pay a lot of money for this. When the heating project is ready and agreed in all instances, you need to start buying all the necessary equipment, in particular, a gas boiler, the required number of pipes and radiators, as well as fittings, pumps, etc. D. The following is the installation process of the entire heating system, which is best entrusted to specialists.
Despite the fact that the installation of a gas heating system seems costly – in operation it is more convenient and cheaper than the “warm floor” system, which has difficulty in access to repair work.
Liquid fuel boiler
If for some reason the “warm floor” is not to your liking, and the main gas is not nearby, then you can heat the house with a liquid fuel boiler.
This is a kind of compromise option that allows you to arrange heating in a country house quite quickly and without any special costs. The device of such a heating system does not require significant capital investments at the initial stage (as in the case of gas heating). But the heat received from the operation of the boiler on liquid fuel is more expensive – but still somewhat cheaper than when using a “warm floor”.
