Often old wooden houses, the owners strive to overlap with bricks for insulation, giving the design of stability, protect it from the influence of atmospheric precipitation and weathering of a tree. This way of improving housing is now very common. The easiest and most inexpensive way is to clad a house with silicate brick.
However, this is not very aesthetically aesthetic – the houses made of silicate brick do not look very attractive. At the moment, in the construction market, a wide assortment is presented with a brick facing – special lightweight brick of a noble ocher with a smooth, beautiful surface. The walls of such brick delight the eye much more than the walls of silicate brick.
The cladding process is not very complicated. Due to the possible irregularities of the walls of a wooden house, the brick facing is laid at a distance of 3-5 centimeters from the wooden wall. This allows you to build perfectly even walls, and also creates an additional air pillow that allows you to maintain heat and natural humidity in the house. As the cladding was erected, the resulting opening can be filled with expanded clay, which has excellent thermal insulation properties, but due to its lightweight, it does not deform the structures. As an option for filling, mineral wool, perfectly maintaining heat and does not accumulate condensed moisture.
The masonry built with special anchors is associated with the carrier wall. This is done in order to avoid loosening the facing wall and give the structure strength. The role of anchors is well played by pieces of steel wire fixed in a wooden wall or long nails that are driven into a wooden wall. The anchors themselves should be not more than 100 centimeters from each other and in height from 60 to 70 centimeters from each other. Anchors must be brought in the masonry seams. The solution is mixed in a ratio of 1: 4 of sand with cement and used to lay bricks of facing. It should be noted that in no case can you use roofing or only for insulation and isolation, since they do not pass air and moisture, and thus, condensation will form between the Trump and the tree, which will lead to the moldy of the wood and its subsequent non -uniformity. For insulation, only breathable materials should be used that will help to remove moisture.
