If it happened that you felt a lack of heat in the house, the room warms up more slowly than usual, and certain sections of the batteries do not secrete heat at all – it means the time has come to clean your radiator, otherwise it will be colder every day. To clean the batteries installed in the apartment, we need the following components:
sealing pacla or fum
volumetric basin or other container
Divorce key 45 numbers or 32 numbers (if required to clean aluminum bimetallic or steel radiator). For cleaning the cast -iron radiator, gas key No. 2 is suitable.
Now directly to cleaning. For convenience, remove any things nearby so that nothing gets in the way. Now you need to protect the floor. If you have a laminate or parquet, cover it with a protective film from sin away. The next, the most important step, you will need to completely block the water.
Next, twist the batteries and slowly pour accumulated water into a pre -prepared basin. Now we need to blow the radiator, for which we open the end plugs. This is best done on the street or, in extreme cases, in the bathroom, since there is a possibility of staining everything around the mud, which will pour out from the batteries. And she, among other things, has a very specific smell.
In order to rinse the battery from the inside, we take the hose and, under pressure, run a stream of water into it. If there is a desire to get rid of various deposits, you can use a solution of vinegar, in which the radiator needs to stand for 2-3 hours. Over time, the solution must be drained, and the battery is again thoroughly washed with powerful water pressure.
In general, we coped with the task – we cleaned the battery, it remains only to return everything to its place. We mount the radiator back on the wall mounts, after which we carefully wipe the joints of the joints with a rag.
It is also worth mentioning if, after all your efforts, the problem has not disappeared and the batteries warm the same as weakly, it is worth contacting specialists who will repair a faulty element or tell you what the true problem.
